ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCYPOSITION: Jr./Sr. High School Principal (Grades 7-12) AVAILABLE: TBD DUTIES: Serves as the educational leader and chief administrator of the Jr/Sr High School, following the approved curricula and directives that meets and exceeds the State Standards; work collaboratively to lead and nurture all members of the school staff and communicate effectively with parents, members of the community and colleagues in other districts and schools. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for planning, curriculum development, program evaluation, extracurricular activities, personnel management, financial management, emergency procedures, resource scheduling and facilities operations. QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess and maintain proper certification as established by NYSED; related training and/or experience; leadership qualities; any additional qualifications as set by the District. REPORTS TO: Superintendent WORKS WITH: Administration, faculty, staff, students, parents and community SALARY: $105,000-$135,000 (Salary will be commensurate with credentials and prior experience.)
