Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a Long-Term Substitute School Counselor. Position must utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration in a school counseling program that promotes and enhances academic achievement and personal/social growth. Must collaborate with school personnel to assist students with developing skills that support academic achievement and lifelong learning. Must maintain confidentiality and accurate student records using SchoolTool as appropriate and comply with school and district policies and regulations as well as state and federal laws. Will participate in other job-related duties and activities related to the position as assigned.
