The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a Math Coach. This position will:-be under the general supervision of the school principal-create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and district programs and goals-assist teachers in finding new teaching methods, tools, and techniques to improve math instruction in all tiers.-provide Professional Development that focuses on improving math instruction in all tiers.-use student assessments to inform tiered instruction across multiple grade levels.-keep math data for RTI reports and for use in data driven instruction.-provide targeted Tier 3 math instruction to students in grades K-4.-supervise and plan for a Teaching Assistant to provide Tier 3 math instruction.-Other instructional duties as assigned.
