The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a Long-Term Substitute Art Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position, under the general supervision of the school principal, will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages enthusiasm and excitement for art. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to assess student progress is needed for individual and large group settings. Help develop educational programs and collaborate with other teachers; employ a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels; and provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals, etc. Preferred candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree/certificate in Art.Health benefits and paid sick and personal days included.
