The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a full-time Spanish, ASL and/or LOTE Teacher. This position, under the general supervision of the school principal, will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and district programs and goals. Will facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; address specific educational needs of individual students and create a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment; and provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.Full benefits package including: health insurance with flex account (or Buyout), tuition reimbursement (for courses taken after hire), payment for Masters', paid sick and personal days.
