The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a full-time occupational therapist as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of professionals. Occupational therapists are responsible for evaluation and support of students K-12 in all aspects of selecting and adapting appropriate treatment models, methods and approaches to direct the process of interventions, including applying interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL). The Occupational Therapist shall be responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in the provision of the full scope of occupational therapy services. Candidates should have a valid NYS license to practice occupational therapy. Experience in providing school-based therapy services is preferred, but not required.
