Starting May to June 2025, NYS certification in Elementary 1-6 required. The successful candidate will be expected to implement the curriculum for the appropriate position for the Spackenkill Union Free School District and to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned under contract agreement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and reading instruction and a deep commitment to supporting students who face difficulties. This role is essential in providing targeted interventions and fostering a growth mindset in students, empowering them to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: · Provide small-group reading and mathematics intervention for students identified as needing additional support.· Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to students' needs. · Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrators to identify and monitor students' progress. · Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student performance, inform instruction, and adjust intervention strategies. · Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that builds students' confidence and resilience. · Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and strategies for support at home.
