We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, and passionate High School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be eager to teach across multiple scientific disciplines and help students grow both academically and personally.Position Overview: We are seeking a certified, enthusiastic Science Teacher to instruct students across various science subjects. We welcome applicants with the following certifications to apply: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Special Education, and/ or Technology with a Science background, dual certification in Special Education preferred. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, innovative, and excited to teach in diverse and sometimes interdisciplinary ways. You will be joining a collaborative team dedicated to supporting student success and providing a well-rounded education. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in core and elective science subjects.Develop and implement hands-on, inquiry-based activities to deepen student understanding of scientific concepts.Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement.Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and foster academic success for all students.Collaborate with colleagues across subject areas to integrate cross-curricular themes and projects.Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding student performance and progress.Foster a passion for science, exploration, and problem-solving in students.
