FULL-TIME NON-INSTRUCTIONAL POSITION AVAILABLEPRIMARY HEAD COOK COUNTRYWOOD PRIMARY CENTEREFFECTIVE: SEPTEMBER 2024HOURS: 6:00am - 2:00pm ( ½ hr. unpaid lunch)RESPONSIBILITES: Managing kitchen with a minimum of direct supervision; Supervising food service workers in kitchen and serving areas; assigning personnel to individual tasks, work stations and equipment; writing a daily work plan, preparing meals. Responsible for ordering and tracking inventory in the kitchen. Must learn POS systems. Will ultimately be responsible for counting and collection of all monies. Required to attend monthly/bimonthly lead chef meetings.QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise food service personnel. Ability to keep accurate records and make reports. Must have knowledge of daily food requirements and “portion control”; should have full knowledge of all jobs under his/herdirective. Must obtain Food Manager’s Certificate and have experience in the preparationof food for a commercial establishment.
