VACANCY: Director of Financial Services (Certificated) - Independent contract ORSupervisor of Fiscal Services (Classified) - Independent contract AVAILABILITY: On or about August 15, 2023. COMPENSATION: Regionally competitive salary. QUALIFICATIONS: Director of Financial Services (Certificated) - NYS School Business Administrator and/or School District Business Leader CertificationORSupervisor of Fiscal Services (Classified) - A Bachelor's degree or higher which included or was supplemented by twenty-four (24) credit hours in accounting and five (5) years of general post education accounting experience, at least two (2) years of which included supervision of personnel involved in the preparation and maintenance of general ledgers, financial statements and budgets. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates must be eligible through Rockland County Civil Service. In addition, CPA with five years accounting experience in a K-12 public school setting preferred, supervisory/management experience preferred.Preapproval by Rockland County Personnel for all candidates is required for this position.
