South Country Central School District is seeking teachers for our 8:1:3 special class. The class is a highly structured classroom that Utilizes Applied Behavioral Analysis to plan and implement academic programs and behavioral interventions for special education students. Applied Behavior Analysis is used to plan and implement academic and behavioral interventions Students have severe developmental delays in academic, social, physical and/or management needs Students participate in the NYS Alternate Assessments Students use classroom wide and/or individual behavior plans Student to special educator ratio is 8:1:3 REQUIREMENT: Valid NYS Appropriate Certification When applying, please submit a cover letter, résumé, copy of certification(s), unofficial transcripts and a list of professional references to the attention of Mr. Jason E.
