SCCSD is seeking a passionate and experienced Band Instructor to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, with expertise in teaching elementary school students. Teaching assignment may include general music.Teach fundamental music concepts, including music theory, rhythm, melody, harmony, and notation.Conduct rehearsals and lead performances for school band and ensemblesProvide individual and group instruction on various wind instrumentsParticipate in school events, concerts, and NYSSMA.Hours: 7:50am – 2:50pm CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSAppropriate NYS Certification required.
