South Country Central School District has an anticipated opening for a Probationary Special Education Teacher at the elementary level. Experience strongly preferred. The Special Education Teacher will teach in accordance with the NYS Standards and Regulations. The teacher will:• Conduct evaluations for annual reviews.• Develop & implement student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) & Behavior Intervention Plans.• Provide students with testing and/or physical, social, emotional accommodations in accordance to the student’s IEP and/or Behavior Plan.• Conduct NYSAA.Certifications: Valid NYS Students with Disabilities and Elementary Education K-6 or Early Childhood K-2.When applying, please submit a cover letter, résumé, copy of certification(s), unofficial transcripts and a list of professional references.
