Must have a strong work ethic, be collaborative with a positive attitude, have good communication skills and prior classroom teaching experience. A strong knowledge of current curriculum practices and technology applications are required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification in Early Childhood Education 1-6. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Strong understanding of childhood development. Must promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction. Knowledge of Google Classroom. Bilingual communication skills preferred. Strong classroom management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others. Prior classroom teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred. Dual Certification (Special Education, ENL, Literacy) preferred.
