Posting: #16979 ANNOUNCEMENT OF A VACANCY FOR A CUSTODIAL WORKER I (ND) - FLOATER TITLE: Custodial Worker I (ND)-Floater CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION: Custodial Worker I/Non-Competitive PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Candidates must possess a valid NYS driver’s license and have the ability to communicate effectively with management. A strong command of materials, methods, and equipment used in custodial work is essential. Previous custodial experience is required, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, multi-site environment. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a conflict-free and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to maintain high productivity across various building cultures. Strong situational leadership skills are highly preferred, including the ability to offer informal guidance to peers, foster team collaboration, and keep daily operations running smoothly without direct oversight.
