The candidate will collaborate with department colleagues, special education staff, and school administration to design lessons and implement curriculum. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification in Secondary Mathematics and Math 5-6 extension or elementary education. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience teaching middle school mathematics. Knowledge of Google Classroom and instructional technology. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bilingual communication skills preferred.
