Additionally, the candidate will supervise K-5 students, may oversee extracurricular clubs, and engage in PTA and community-based events. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification in Physical Education. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Previous elementary teaching experience. Dual certification (Health) preferred. Experience running extracurricular sports and/or wellness clubs. Involvement in appropriate State and national organizations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bilingual communication skills preferred.
