Date: September 10, 2024 Posting #: CP1933 ANNOUNCEMENT OF A VACANCY: LONG TERM LEAVE REPLACEMENT SPECIAL EDUCATION/MATH TEACHERThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction to students in two Special Class Math classes and three Resource Rooms. Additional responsibilities include coverage of the teacher’s caseload, attendance at CSE meetings, department and faculty meetings and correspondence with students and their families. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:NYS certification in Students With Disabilities in Math 7-12, Special Education 7-12, or Special Education Generalist. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Teachers must be certified to teach in a high school.
