The successful candidates will provide students with Social Studies academic support via push-ins and pull-outs, academic enrichment, and extra help. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:NYS Secondary Certification in Social Studies 7-12.Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Previous classroom teaching experience.Knowledge of and experience teaching the NYS Social Studies Framework.Experience with small group instruction.Curriculum development experience for support and enrichment services.Knowledge of Google Classroom and instructional technology.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Bilingual communication skills.APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HOLD A CURRENT TEACHING CERTIFICATIONTeacher Assistant positions are full-time and include benefits.
