Temporary Full Time Teaching Assistant - Sharon Springs Central School is looking for a teaching assistant for the 2022-2023 school year. You will be needed to provide academic support and assistance, working with small group tutoring, carrying out the organization of instructional materials as planned and directed by the classroom teacher, monitoring and reinforcing skills and concepts previously taught by the teacher in one on one or small group support under teacher direction. The selected applicant must hold or apply for a NYS Teaching Assistant Certificate Level I at the time of hire (high school diploma, filing fee, subsequent NYSATAS testing and additional education requirements) and/or two years of college credit. Position begins September 1, 2022. Salary and benefits based upon SSTA contract. NYS Department of Education Fingerprint Clearance Required
