Profile of a Shenendehowa Employee Qualifications: NYS Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12) or Special Education Permanent Certification or Special Education (All Grades) Teacher of special class program; program is for students with significant cognitive disabilities.Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.Students participate in the New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) program.Instruction is focused on communication, functional academics & transition skills.
