Assist in goal development for IEP’sManage and maintain IEP recordsOversee progress note reporting of all IEP’sMonitor and review that testing for Re-Evaluation meetings are completedEnsure that students receive mandated services, ensure that required prescriptions are updates annually or as necessary and arrange for related service providers, if requiredAssist the students, parents, school staff and any other agencies the student may be working with to ensure the student has a smooth transition from school to postsecondary adult life including postsecondary education, vocational training, employment, adult education services, independent living, and community participationAssist in coordinating any referrals to adult service agencies; Assist in submission and dissemination of daily incident management paperwork; Complete and submit monthly billing for all related service providers, milk sheets and student attendance recordsMaster’s degree in special educationExcellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skillsGood oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of Part 200 Special Education Regulations and educational lawsKnowledge of special education and instructional practicesMinimum of 3 years’ experience providing educational services to those diagnosed with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities
