Oversees all K-12 curriculum and continues to elevate special programs (Science Research, Capstone, etc.)2. Conducts monthly Elementary Administrative Meetings and Secondary Administrative Meetings3. Monitors and oversees the various curricula for all departments 4. Stays abreast of the latest developments in pedagogy (K-12) and best instructional practices with a strong focus on literacy skills.5. Ensures that curricula and instructional materials are aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and Next Generation Learning Standards6. Participates in recruitment, screening and interview process for professional staff7. Develops instructional priorities that are aligned to District Goals8. Oversees the budget development for all departments9. Oversees and monitors the scoring of all State mandated and standardized tests and provides data analyzes (Grade 3-8 State Tests, Regents, NYSELAT, AP, PLTW, NWEA, SAT, ACT, etc.)10. Monitors formative and summative assessments for all instruction11. Oversees state reporting, local data, and federal required data12. Oversees student registration with the District Registrar13.
