Applicants should have prior Social work experience and a strong working knowledge of:Social Work intervention within the school settingDe-escalation techniques for students with behavioral concernsMedicaid billingProvision of Individual and Group Therapy sessionsSocial/Emotional Lessons individually and groupBully Prevention ProgramsBehavior Management:Create, monitor, evaluate behavior support plans, CICOCreate, monitor, evaluate FBA/BIPParent/Teacher Conferences and CommunicationCrisis Intervention:Threat assessmentsCrisis Team memberMember of building student support teamsMediationWorks as a member of the Attendance Team to ensure the attendance policy is adhered to.Works with local Mental Health Agencies to aid families/students seeking resources.A qualified candidate is expected to hold and maintain appropriate certifications.
