The Scotia-Glenville Central School District is accepting applications for a full-time mathematics leave of absence at the High School. The leave will begin on or around December 6th, 2024, and run through the remainder of the school year, June 27th, 2025. New York State mathematics certification required. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:Knowledge and a working understanding of the NGLS;Develop lessons to engage students in the mathematics curriculum with the goal of mastery of the standards.Be approachable and willing to meet students where they are at academically and emotionally.Be a team player within the mathematics department as well as within the Scotia-Glenville High School faculty.Engage parents and families in the learning process through regular communication.Be willing to become involved in the school community through participation in events, experiences, and professional committees.Participate in regular PD either through the district or through external organizations.
