The Scarsdale Schools are seeking talented, experienced, and innovative candidates for Computer Aide position in our Elementary Schools.Under the direct supervision of an elementary Computer Teacher, the Computer Aide assists staff and students with basic technology use.The ideal candidate will:have a basic understanding of how to use technology, like laptops and printershave the ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructionspossess interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work well with elementary students and staffbe dependable, regarding punctuality and attendancehelp with the setup of computers, printers and peripherals help track, manage and maintain technology, including inventory have the ability to lift and/or carry classroom computer hardware when necessaryThe computer aide works 5.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday. The shift is generally 8:30 am - 3:00 pm (with 30 minute break mid-shift) but a slight variation in hours can usually be accommodated.Scarsdale Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
