The Scarsdale Schools are seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative candidate for a long term substitute elementary Spanish (FLES) teacher position at Edgewood Elementary School. Our elementary schools spans grades K-5, and offer rich and varied educational programs, along with an active, supportive parent body. The FLES program engages students in grades 2-5 in Spanish language instruction as part of our core academic program. Candidates should hold EITHER Spanish certification with Grades 1-6 extension, OR TESOL certification or Elementary Classroom certification and be fluent in Spanish. Dual certification in childhood education preferred.
