Music Teacher - 7th and 8th Choral/Vocal Music (Leave Replacement) Scarsdale Middle School is seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative candidate for a full-time leave replacement position in Choral Music starting March 23, 2023 through June 23, 2023. The school spans grades 6-8 and offers a rich and varied educational program to the high-achieving student population of approximately 1100 students. The school community boasts an accomplished faculty and staff along with an active and supportive parent body. Scarsdale Middle School focuses on the developmental needs of their students and fosters a highly challenging, nurturing, and supportive intellectual environment. Candidates must hold appropriate certification. Experience as a school choral director is essential. Knowledge and background in middle school choral/vocal pedagogy, repertoire, and performance practice are essential.
