Position: Full Time Probationary Special Education Teachers (Anticipated)Location: To be determinedStart Date: September 2, 2025Salary: Per STA ContractQualifications: NYS Certified in Special Education Anticipated openings for Special Education Teachers to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include IEP development, direct instruction, progress monitoring, and providing necessary support.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other special needs.Provide direct instruction to students based on their needs and IEP goals.Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods and interventions as needed.Provide behavioral and emotional support to students as needed.Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student successExperience with Applied Behavior Analysis and behavior management preferred Application Process: Sayville Schools is anticipating vacancies as noted above.
