Interim Administrator – ElementaryDescription: Sayville School District is seeking an interim administrator for Lincoln Avenue Elementary School. We are seeking an administrator willing to serve for approximately six months, alongside our Lincoln Avenue Elementary building principal, while supporting the structure of our growing and evolving elementary and special education needs. This is an administrative position requiring NYS certification as a school administrator. Requirements: -Previous experience as an elementary building level administrator-Supervise elementary staff-Provide professional development for instructional and non-instructional staff-Support program design, implementation, and evaluation-Knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations, including those related to special education programs and services-Understanding the needs of students as they relate to academic development and social emotional needs-Proven ability to be an effective communicator, detail oriented, and to work collaboratively with staffSalary: Commensurate with experience.
