The Confidential Secretary to the Superintendent & District Clerk This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the efficient operation of the school district by providing administrative assistance to the superintendent and overseeing crucial clerical duties related to district governance. It requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Responsibilities:1. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the superintendent, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, and handling correspondence.2. Board Meetings: Coordinate all aspects of board meetings, including preparing agendas, attending meetings to record minutes, and distributing minutes to board members and relevant stakeholders.3. Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of district board proceedings, official documents, policies, and regulations in compliance with state and federal guidelines.4. Public Communication: Serve as a liaison between the superintendent, board members, district staff, and the public, responding to inquiries and providing information in a courteous and professional manner.5. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to district governance, including filing official documents, maintaining records of board actions, and facilitating public access to information as required by law.6. Elections and Voting: Coordinate district elections, including preparing and distributing ballots, overseeing the voting process, and certifying election results in accordance with statutory requirements.7. Policy Administration: Assist in the development, review, and dissemination of district policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations and board directives.9.
