Mentor CoordinatorQualifications: Current tenured Saugerties Central School District teacher with at least three consecutive years in the district.Effective Date: July1, 2022 - June 30, 2023 (One-Year Appointment)Salary: Per Saugerties Teachers' Association ContractEssential FunctionsSupport and act as resource for teacher mentors and resource mentors.Facilitate planning, scheduling and implementation of mentoring activities.Facilitate Mentor Team/Committee.Develop New Teacher Orientation in collaboration with the Director of HR. Support new teachers through quarterly (at a minimum) meetings.Support new teachers through the first year of the tenure process.Make recommendations to administration regarding the mentor program and/or individual mentor/mentee situations.Review and maintain paperwork and documentation necessary for smooth operation.Complete mentor training approved by the Mentor Team/Committee.A willingness to fulfill all roles and responsibilities as described in the Mentor Plan.Gives input to and/or attends Professional Practice Committee meetings.Identify areas to improve the Mentor Plan.
