Anticipated Teacher Vacancy Position : Elementary School Teacher, Grades 3, 4 or 5 (Full-Time, Probationary, Tenure-Track) Available : August 31, 2026 for the 2026-27 school year Compensation: Commensurate with experience and educational attainment Qualifications : Valid NYS Childhood Education, 1-6 certification (required) Responsibilities : Utilize the Workshop Model as the primary approach for instruction. Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of students. Manage classroom and individual student behavior to produce a productive and supportive learning environment. Establish routines and structures that align with the school’s core values. Experience in a co-teaching (ICT) classroom a plus Familiarity with a variety of Math and ELA curriculum, specifically knowledge of Eureka Math2 and the Units of Study a plus Maintain regular and open communication with parents and/or guardians. Able to work in a collaborative teaching environment with grade-level team, co-planning, and interdisciplinary planning.
