TEACHER/TA VACANCYPosition: Physical Education Teacher (0.5 FTE) and Teaching Assistant (0.5 FTE), Middle/High School. This is a full-time, blended position. Available: August 26, 2025 for the 2025-26 school yearCompensation: Commensurate with experience and educational attainment. For reference the annual base salary at BA/Step 1 is $62,156 and MA/Step 1 is $70,593 for teachers and the annual base salary at Level III/Step 1 is $26,093 and Level IV/Step 1 is $26,289 for teaching assistants.Qualifications:Valid NYS Physical Education certification (required)Responsibilities: Plan and instruct Middle/High School Physical Education courses.Assess students’ work accurately and regularly; provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback for improvement.Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all students; encourage student participation.
