TEACHER VACANCY Position: Art Teacher, High School (Probationary, Full-Time, Tenure-Track) Available: August 30, 2023 for the 2023-24 school year Qualifications:Valid NYS certification in Art, K-12 (required)Responsibilities:Must have experience in 3-D media, strong ceramics skills and knowledge of kiln use.Experience in fabric arts and/or fashion illustration preferred.Assess students’ work accurately and regularly; provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback for improvement. Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all students; encourage student participation.Work as a member of the Unified Arts Team.Additional opportunities to earn stipends by advising clubs and providing costume management and/or art support for drama productions.
