TEACHER VACANCY Position: Special Education Teacher, Middle/High School (Full-Time, Probationary, Tenure-Track) Available: August 29, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year Qualifications:Valid NYS Student with Disabilities 7-12 English certification (required)Valid NYS English 7-12 certification and/or 5-6 Extension (preferred)Responsibilities:Provide English instruction (self-contained and ICT) to middle and high school students.Provide resource room instruction to middle and high school students. Assess students’ work accurately and regularly; provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback for improvement. Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all students; encourage student participation.Work as a member of the Special Services Team.Perform substitute and supervisory duties as needed.
