RYE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT2025 - 2026ELEMENTARY CSE/CPSE/504 Chairperson RCSD is seeking a dedicated and collaborative individual to join our student support team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering academic, social, and emotional success for all students through consultation and intervention within a multi-tiered system of supports. The candidate will have responsibilities for CPSE as well as Kindergarten through Grade 5.Responsibilities:Review comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and 504 Committee in grades K-5.Chairperson of the CPSE, CSE (K-5) and 504 (K-5) committees, providing expertise in eligibility determinations and program recommendations.Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to determine eligibilityAnalyze data to support academic and behavioral interventions at the individual and systems level.Qualifications:New York State Certification as a School Psychologist (preferred, but not required).Experience chairing CPSE, CSE and 504 meetings.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Data Based Interventions (DBI)
