Applicants should possess a strong background in curriculum, instruction, and professional development. Experience required in implementing APPR, the observation and evaluation process, and providing faculty and staff with actionable feedback. Experience necessary in MTSS, evidence-based interventions, the CSE/504 process, and supporting inclusive learning environments that meet the needs of all learners. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in the following instructional and management areas:Committed to building collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students and familiesExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsExperience with DASA, MTSS and the Danielson RubricTeaching and Administrative experience in the high schoolCollaborative, Creative and Innovative leadershipExperience in delivering professional development through the coaching modelSuccessful experience as an instructional leaderExperience in schedulingThe ability to analyze data for short and long term planning purposesAdept at instructional technologies and interdisciplinary work Ability to design and implement performance-based assessmentsAbility to implement and maintain rules of student conduct with progressive discipline and restorative practicesAbility to effectively oversee student attendanceExperience coordinating Regents and AP examinationsFamiliarity with International Baccalaureate program preferredA deep understanding of adult learning theory and the change process is required.
