RYE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT2025 - 2026SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST CPSE and K-5RCSD is seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join our student support team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering academic, social, and emotional success for all students through assessment, consultation, and intervention within a multi-tiered system of supports. The candidate will have responsibilities for CPSE as well as Kindergarten through Grade 5.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and 504 Committee in grades K-5.Participate as a member and/or chairperson of the CPSE, CSE (K-5) and 504 (K-5), providing expertise in eligibility determinations and program recommendations.Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to determine eligibilityAnalyze data to support academic and behavioral interventions at the individual and systems level.Qualifications:New York State Certification as a School Psychologist (required).Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing professional reports.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Data Based Interventions (DBI)
