POSITION: SPEECH PATHOLOGIST QUALIFICATIONS/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES : Must hold appropriate NYSED Certification Deliver speech and language therapy to classified and general education students Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for initial and reevaluation meetings through CPSE and CSE Administer speech screenings to students Progress monitor both IEP and MTSS Goals Provide prevention, evaluation and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice and fluency Provide consultation to teachers and teams as per IEPs Build positive and trusting relationships with parents by communicating with them about their child’s growth Participate in building level Instructional Support Team (IST) Meetings Be a champion for all Roosevelt students to prepare for a successful future Candidates must be highly organized, flexible, and a team player Related Duties as assigned by the Director of PPS, Building Principal and Assistant Principal SALARY: Commensurate with Experience and the Roosevelt Teachers Association (RTA) Contract apply for this POSITION by completing a cover letter, resume and application The Roosevelt UFSD is an equal opportunity employer.
