POSITION AVAILABLE ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR DATA, ASSESSMENT, ATTENDANCE & REGISTRATION(CODAAR) Description: Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Assistant Superintendent for Data, Assessment, Attendance, & Registration is responsible for leading District staff to develop the District’s data analysis, assessment protocols, Student Attendance, and the Office of Registration. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees the Central Office of Data, Attendance, Assessment, and RegistrationSupervises the professional learning and monitoring of all campus-based testing coordinatorsIssues the campus and District-wide data reporting for all data platformsManages the state accountability reporting procedures and outputSupervises the administration, integrity, and scoring of online assessmentsCollects, analyzes, translates, and disseminates District dataIncreases awareness of student progression and pedagogical impact for continual attainment of District goalsOrganizes systemic change which produces professional accountability and high expectations for professional learning by CODAAR Team membersFormalizes analysis of student data through ongoing professional learning sessionsProvides data analysis reports of campus, district, and state level assessment resultsCoordinates and co-develops the CODAAR publications on the department’s goals and progressCollaborates with instructional leaders and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the Registration DepartmentEnsures the alignment of a Districtwide data analysis protocol for Pre-K – 12Provides oversight for the implementation of formal and informal methods of districtwide assessmentsOversees the monitoring and scheduled submissions of accountability reports to the stateDevelops the Family and Community Engagement Liaisons and supports Roosevelt families and students not attending school and/or classesOversees the Data, Assessment and Attendance AdministratorMaintains strict confidentiality by adhering to all federal, state, and local laws and regulationsCreates and enhances a comprehensive plan to address chronic absenteeism and truancy of our studentsBuilds positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersOrganizes alignment to the Strategic PlanPerforms other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools Qualifications: Valid NYSED SDL or SDA Certification; Demonstrated School and/or District Leadership Experience Desired; District Data, Assessment, and Attendance Supervision Experience Preferred Salary: Commensurate with experience (Twelve-Month Position) apply for this POSITION by completing a cover letter,resume and applicationThe Roosevelt UFSD is an equal opportunity employer.
