Qualifications: One year of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in park or grounds maintenance activities. Salary: Per Contract General Responsibilities: Incumbents in this title may perform some or all of the following, as well as other related activities not described.Mows, rakes and cuts grass;Operates grounds keeping machinery and equipment;Performs minor maintenance to grounds keeping machinery and equipment;Maintains athletic fields;Keeps grounds free of litter;Plants and care for trees, shrubs and plants;Removes snow and ice from walks, pathways and steps;May secure buildings and property;May perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm (Summer hours are 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday) Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the direct report and/or Superintendent.
