RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is announcing an ANTICIPATED vacancy: Math Coach & ENL Teacher Qualifications: New York State Certifications, Childhood Education 1-6 AND English to Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) Ideal candidates will have experience working with elementary students. They will also have experience with the MTSS process and using data to drive instruction. Candidates should be flexible, collaborative, student-centered, have a good sense of humor, and be willing to have a lot of fun. Marbletown Elementary School is located near Kingston and New Paltz. The school encompasses grades K-3 and has a total enrollment of approximately 270 students. Marbletown staff takes pride in a warm, nurturing environment created for students. A heavy emphasis is placed on success skills (a.k.a. social emotional learning), utilizing programs including restorative practices, PBIS, Zones of Regulation, and mindfulness. At the same time, staff strive to create engaging standards-based lessons to ensure the academic growth of our students. Success at Marbletown can be attributed to a fantastic staff who have a positive mindset focused on continuous improvement. Salary: Per Contract General Responsibilities: Evaluate, instruct, and improve English proficiency as well as serve as resource to the school for English language concerns and provide AIS (academic intervention services) to identified students. Exact schedule TBD based on needs. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:40pm Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the direct report and/or Superintendent.
