The Rome City School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist to serve as a leave replacement for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ communication development and academic success within a collaborative school environment. The selected candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students, conduct evaluations and assessments related to communication disorders, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Additional responsibilities include collaborating closely with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student progress and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must possess appropriate New York State certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or be eligible for certification. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to supporting the diverse needs of students.
