The Rome City School District is accepting applications for a certified Special Education Teacher for a 6–8 week assignment starting approximately February 1, 2026, in a 12:1:1 Grades 3–4 classroom.A valid NYS Students with Disabilities (All Grades) or NYS Teaching Certification is preferred, however we welcome applications from individuals currently enrolled in an education program and actively working toward certification.How to Apply:Please submit your resume, a cover letter outlining your experience and teaching philosophy, 3 professional references, official college transcripts, and a copy of your NYS Teaching certification (or copy of TEACH certification/application page).
