Qualifications: NYS School District Leader Administrative Certification (SDA, SDL); A minimum of three (3) years of prior building or district-level administrative experience (preferred); Significant experience using classroom instructional technology (SMART Boards, Chromebooks); Knowledge of data privacy rules and regulations, including Education Law 2D; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Experience using eSchool, Google, Admin. Clever, comfort in exploring and understanding unfamiliar web-based tools and management systems; Understanding of NYSED/SIRS/data warehouse reporting requirements and deadlines.Job Description:Oversee all district-wide physical technology web subscriptions, applications, user accounts, and technology-focused professional developmentOversee all aspects of district 1:1 Chromebooks - Tracking, Admin, Filtering, Provisioning Insurance Claims/Repairs, Attestations (AUP), and other associated formsWork collaboratively with network staff to maintain CISCO VOIP system, including add, moves, changes and repairs as necessaryDirectly supervise technology integration specialists and all technology network support staffPrepare and oversee technology and A/V budgetsServe as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Data Protection Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, FERPA Officer, and lead contact for all data-related reports and inquiriesCoordinate and schedule A/V needs for evening and weekend school and community eventsCraft and send district-wide connect-ed notificationsManage all district electronic forms, including collections, dissemination, and analysis of dataCreation and maintenance of 900/990 calendars and associated NYSED reportingWork collaboratively with Syntax to update and maintain the district websiteChair Rocky Point Technology Committee and related ad-hoc committees, as appropriateApply: Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, résumé, copy of certification(s), unofficial transcripts and a list of professional references, including immediate list of supervisors no late than June 30, 2023 to: Susann Crossan, Assistant Superintendent, Rocky Point Union Free School DistrictPlease no email inquires; OLAS only.
