Rockland BOCES Adult Education is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Notary Public Instructor to prepare and deliver engaging lessons for individuals seeking to become commissioned notaries or renew their commissions. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with a passion for teaching and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of notarial law and ethics.PROGRAM: Adult EducationPOSITION: Adult Education Career Training Instructor -Notary Public-- Part-Time EveningCERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in education, communications, or a related field is a plus. Must possess a current and valid New York State Notary Public commission / certification. Minimum 3 years of active experience as a Notary Public. Previous teaching or instructional experience is desirable. Ability to teach weekday evening classes.
