Rockland BOCES has an immediate vacancy in our Adult Education program.POSITION: Coordinator of Workforce Training & Community EducationDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Create and modify the master schedule for Workforce Training & Community Education based on need, enrollment, and student assessment.Implement and modify curriculum for Workforce Training & Community Education and any additional grant funded programs.Assist with the writing of grants and responsible for the preparing of necessary reports related to the grants.Serve as the liaison with the County, Workforce Development Board, strategic partners, and community agencies regarding workforce training program offerings and pathways; and build community awareness, in coordination with the Communications Department, by promoting all program offerings.Supervise the Workforce Training & Community Education staff and oversee the management of all related program development, data, and state reporting.Collaborate with administration to enhance funding opportunities within both the division and the agency. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field such as School Counseling, School Psychology, Education or Social Work preferred. NYSED certification in area listed or Adult Education Certification required. Experience in the Workforce Development, Career Training, Adult Continuing or Community Education.SALARY: $80,000-$90,000
