 Rockland BOCES has an immediate vacancy in our Student Services Division.                                                                                                   POSITION:                 Principal – Student Services Division Office (FTE 1.0)                                                                                               CERTIFICATION:      NYS Administrative Certification (SAS, SBL, or SDA) requiredSpecial Education certification required.Qualifications:Expertise working with students with special needs.Ability to develop schedules for a variety of staff, students, and programs.Experience in teacher and support staff observations and evaluations.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to conduct and coordinate investigations, DASA, and threat assessments.Ability to engage and work collaboratively with staff, parents, community members and other stakeholders.Strong management, organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).Flexibility to provide administrative coverage for Student Services programs. Bilingual and Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
