POSITION: Assistant Principal Qualifications:Expertise working with students with special needsAt least five years of successful teaching or professional experience, administrative preferredAbility to engage and work collaboratively with staff, parents, community members and other stakeholdersStrong management, organizational and problem-solving skillsCapacity to promote a safe and supportive school environment that fosters the social and academic development of studentsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)Expertise in curriculum development, supervision and evaluation of staff CERTIFICATION: New York State SDA, SAS or SBL certification required.
